International meeting organised by the Moroccan Membrane and Desalination Society (MMDS) on “ Water Management in Arid Zones. Role of Unconventional Water Resources “. The meeting will take place on March 21-22, 2008 in the Conference Palace  (Palais des Congrès) of Laayoune City in the region which contains the biggest stations of desalination in Morocco. It is also planned to visit the two biggest desalination plants of Laayoune: drinking (ONEP) and process (OCP). The participation is free
The conference is sponsored by National Office of Phosphate (OCP), National Office of Potable Water (ONEP), Veolia, UNESCO (Chaire SIMEV) and supported by other International organisms: EDS, CFM, MEDRC, IDA.... The conferences will be assured by International and National specialists.
