Using the dual approach of FAO-56 for partitioning ET into soil and plant components for olive orchards in a semi arid region by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
The main goal of this research was to evaluate the potential of the dual approach of FAO-56 for estimating actual crop evapotranspiration (AET) and its componants (crop transpiration and soil evaporation)of an olive orchard in the semi arid region of Tensift bassin.
Estimating and monitoring seasonal water by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
Planning and management of water resources have become a very important issue in arid and semi-arid regions. Accurate measurements of heat and water fluxes are required for optimizing water management and for validating models simulating crop water consumption.
Combining Satellite Remote Sensing Data with the FAO-56 Dual by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
The aim of this study was to combine the FAO-56 dual approach and remotely-sensed data for mapping water use (ETc) in irrigated wheat crops of a semi-arid region. The method is based on the relationships established between Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and crop biophysical variables such as basal crop coefficient, cover fraction and soil evaporation.
Using the dual approach of FAO-56 for partitioning ET into soil and plant components for olive orchards in a semi arid region by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
