- Using the dual approach of FAO-56 for partitioning ET into soil and plant components for olive orchards in a semi arid region by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
- The main goal of this research was to evaluate the potential of the dual approach of FAO-56 for estimating actual crop evapotranspiration (AET) and its componants (crop transpiration and soil evaporation)of an olive orchard in the semi arid region of Tensift bassin.
- Estimating and monitoring seasonal water by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
- Planning and management of water resources have become a very important issue in arid and semi-arid regions. Accurate measurements of heat and water fluxes are required for optimizing water management and for validating models simulating crop water consumption.
- Combining Satellite Remote Sensing Data with the FAO-56 Dual by P41-CDRT-Prof. Ahmed Chehbouni — last modified 2010-11-03 18:08
- The aim of this study was to combine the FAO-56 dual approach and remotely-sensed data for mapping water use (ETc) in irrigated wheat crops of a semi-arid region. The method is based on the relationships established between Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and crop biophysical variables such as basal crop coefficient, cover fraction and soil evaporation.
